About Tina

Tina Bolto is the founder of Easy Growing and is a passionate food gardener and educator.

Her love of food gardening started in 1992 while assisting the establishment of a community garden.  Since then, she’s studied and practised various methods of growing, including organic, bio-dynamic, Permaculture and aquaponics.

She’s also been a paramedic and was awarded the Australian National Medal for Service in 2013.

Tina has built two homes, one of which is a solar-passive strawbale house that was featured in Owner Builder magazine.

Having moved over thirty times, Tina is an expert in designing the perfect garden for any living situation. She’s made it her mission to help others create food gardens that suit their own unique circumstance and lifestyle.
